This Is Not a Government Office. This is a privately operated reference site. It cannot retrieve or correct a criminal record, conduct an official record review, issue a certified copy, or accept a record-sealing filing. Contact the government office responsible for the record.
Need an Official Record?
Use the custodian that matches the Bronx County record:
- Court case files: use the Court Case Lookup resources or ask the clerk of the Bronx court that handled the case
- Personal criminal history: request a fingerprint-based Personal Record Review from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), Office of Criminal Justice Records
- Police and arrest reports: contact NYPD's centralized Criminal Records Unit or use NYC OpenRecords for a nonroutine FOIL request
- Current city custody: use the NYC Department of Correction Person in Custody Lookup; the Bronx does not operate a county jail roster
- State prison records: use the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Incarcerated Lookup
- Record sealing: submit the required papers to the court that handled the qualifying case
