Accuracy of Information
Government agencies may revise their hours, addresses, telephone numbers, fees, portal features, or request rules without notice. Official record systems also change as courts and agencies add, amend, restrict, or remove information. Although we work to keep the Bronx County material useful, no page is guaranteed to be complete, error-free, or current. Confirm the procedure and any charge with the responsible office before visiting a counter, mailing a request, or paying a fee.
An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest is not a finding of guilt. Prosecutors may decline or change charges, courts may dismiss a case or enter a favorable result, and a custody entry does not establish the final outcome. New York records may later be corrected or sealed, including under CPL 160.50, CPL 160.57, or CPL 160.59. An old copy can therefore give a false view of current status. Verify the disposition with the Bronx Criminal Court or Bronx Supreme Court clerk, and use DCJS Personal Record Review when checking your own fingerprint-linked New York State history.
A record is a lead, not a verdict. Only its government custodian can confirm the current content and whether the law still permits release.

No content on this website is an official record. Check a court date or case disposition with the proper Bronx court clerk, current city custody with NYC DOC, state imprisonment with DOCCS, and registry information with the New York State Sex Offender Registry. NYPD maintains police report records, while DCJS maintains restricted fingerprint-linked state criminal history. A certified or official copy must come from the government office that keeps it.
