1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independently operated and unaffiliated with government. It does not keep official criminal records, retrieve them for visitors, conduct official checks, or submit forms on anyone's behalf.

The site identifies official Bronx County channels, including NYPD, Bronx Criminal Court, Bronx Supreme Court, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), NYC DOC, DOCCS, and the New York State Sex Offender Registry. New York Freedom of Information Law, Public Officers Law Article 6, governs requests to executive agencies, but it does not turn this private website into a government records office.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you must not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the pages
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate someone using information found here
• Attempt to enter systems or data without authorization
• Use the content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Bronx County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create credit reports, background reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising partners likewise are not presented here as services for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit decisions. You agree not to use information from this website or a linked tool to:

• Assess creditworthiness or determine insurance eligibility or pricing
• Screen a housing applicant or prospective tenant
• Make an employment or termination decision
• Determine eligibility for a license, benefit, permit, or government program
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

For an FCRA-regulated purpose, use a qualified FCRA-compliant consumer reporting agency and any official process the applicable law requires. DCJS Personal Record Review is for a person reviewing their own New York State record and is not a public screening product.

5. No Legal Advice

The website provides general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Bronx County charge, conviction, warrant, or record-sealing rule affects a specific person. Consult an attorney licensed in New York for advice about individual facts or rights.
